With over a decade of experience organizing club & theater concerts, and producing / curating music and art festivals, Silver Wrapper has established its brand as a fan & artist first company.
Since its inception in May of 2000, inspired by the New Orleans funk & jazz scene, Silver Wrapper has evolved into an organization and thriving community of music loving fans. Though rooted in Chicago, Silver Wrapper produces events spanning coast to coast. Representing diverse musical genres such as Rock, Funk, Jam, Jazz, Indie, Electronic/EDM/Dance, Reggae, Bluegrass, Americana/Folk and everything that falls in between, Silver Wrapper prides itself on offering good vibes and the joys of music for everyone.
As an independent concert promoter, Silver Wrapper has produced successful shows in various sized rooms in Chicago including: Auditorium Theatre of Roosevelt University, Aragon Ballroom, The Riviera Theatre, House of Blues, Double Door, Logan Square Auditorium, Bottom Lounge, Congress Theater, Park West, The Vic Theatre, Abbey Pub, Martyrs’, Sonotheque, Metro, Schubas, and Lincoln Hall. Silver Wrapper expanded its portfolio into the club business in 2013 as well, opening Concord Music Hall, a 1450 capacity music venue in Chicago, IL with fellow independent promoters.
In addition to club shows, Silver Wrapper has extensive experience in producing outdoor festivals including North Coast Music Festival and Suwannee Hulaween, as well as popular Chicago street festivals including Wicker Park Fest, Boulevard Fest, Taste of Randolph and Live on Lincoln. Silver Wrapper has also been one of the primary producers of the indoor multi-venue multi-week Chicago Bluegrass and Blues Festival since 2009.
Silver Wrapper also gives backs to the communities we work in, whereever possible through donation or volunteer work. Organizations include: The Greater Chicago Food Depository, The Illinois Latino Cultural Center, The Chicago Park District, Arts of Life, New Orleans Musician Fund, Chicago Cultural Center and many more.

Who We Are
Silver Wrapper is a growing community of individuals sharing a common passion for music, coming together to evolve the scene. We are creating an atmosphere to dance, groove, rock out, and get funky — whether we're organizing our own productions, or supporting artists through the promotion of upcoming shows. As festivalists, we are opening the cities and regions to fans and artists alike as hosts. As enthusiasts, we expose fans to new music, or simply educate each other on its origins. We want to create a symbiotic relationship between artists, musicians, DJs, producers, fans and venues to further the celebration of music.
Community
We are a large collection of all types sharing a love of electronic, jazz, funk, rock — great music. We are a wild bunch who manage to play hard and maintain respect for each other and the musicians who share their talent with us.
Productions
We represent the business side of music, bringing to Chicago the musicians we love, and who we feel need to play our city more often. Stay tuned for the next Silver Wrapper production.
Promotions
We want artists to succeed, and we do everything we can to help them. Before shows, we motivate our community to get tickets and organize pre/post parties to make concerts into events. We distribute flyers and posters and send mass e-mail reminders. Most importantly, we show our support by dancing like crazy…
Festivalists
To Silver Wrapper, concerts are more than a couple sets of good music — they are celebrations of life. We pre-party, post-party, and generally go wild all night. Whether we are walking to Concord Music Hall, or road-tripping to New Orleans, we are more than passive spectators.

Silver Wrapper is a connection of music enthusiasts with a treasure of live music, old and new. More than simply trading albums or live recordings, we are interested in the origins and influences of music we love — the history of it.
